Parichat International Golf Links is 30 minutes outside of Pattaya and close to Pattaya Country Club. For those travelling from the opposite direction, it takes around an hour to get to the course from Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
Parichat International Golf Links, which opened in 2015, is an 18-hole course set on 200 acres of rolling natural terrain. The 6,600-yard course is in fair condition and features numerous tricked-out holes, making it best suited for experienced golfers. Many of the courses are framed by large ravines and cliffs, which also serve to keep good shots out of play. Water, which juts into the fairways multiple times along the course, produces needlessly small access to the greens.
Several of these 'exciting' holes may be found at Parichat International Golf Links. The hallmark hole, the par-4 seventeenth, is the longest par-4 on the course, measuring over 400 yards. A solid score demands a tee shot that avoids the water on the right side of the fairway, which cuts into the middle. The hole's signature charm comes from the towering cliff on the left, which frames it wonderfully. The green, on the other hand, is steeply slanted from front to back, making stopping the ball on the approach shot extremely difficult.
The temporary clubhouse, as well as the on-course kiosks, are enough for most needs. However, once completed, the permanent building will provide greater service and more comprehensive facilities. For golfers searching for a good course at a reasonable price, Parichat Links is a good option among the several local courses. Because carts are required, this expense must be considered.
