There is some great fishing in Thailand whether you are a beginner or expert, holidaymaker or ex-pat.
There are numerous Fishing Parks in the Pattaya area where you can have a relaxing day in the outdoors. All of these have tackle to hire or buy along with bait and of course food and drink for you. Many also have guides to help you with baiting up, casting, landing and unhooking the fish.
Thailand is home to some of the largest and hardest fighting freshwater fish in the world with some fish of monstrous proportions with species such as Arapaima, Mekong Catfish, Giant Snakehead, Pacu, Alligator Gar, Giant Siamese Carp and several different species of catfish.
Several of the Fishing Parks also have other sports or activities available so they are often a great place to bring the whole family
