Pattaya Fishing Park is the greatest place to catch Mekong catfish in Pattaya. The pond's owner believes there are over 3,000 fish in it. It may be reached through Sukhumvit Road's soi 62 or Wat Boon's soi 2 (signposted from Wat Boon soi 2). The quickest fishing is on the far bank, where the smaller fish prefer to congregate; casts of 50 meters or more are required to reach them. The larger fish are normally captured closer to the pond's center, however casting your bait there will result in fewer fish. The biggest Mekong I've ever seen come out of Pattaya Fishing Park was roughly 50kg, but the owner claims it has Mekongs up to 85kg.
