The Pattavia Century Golf Club is 1.5 hours from Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi International Airport and one hour from Pattaya. The Century golf course in Pattaya was created by American golf architect Robert McFarland in 1996. Pattavia was renamed, restored, lengthened, and brought up to modern standards in 2014. It may currently be played to a distance of over 7,100 yards from the starting line.
The setting for a golf course is ideal, with rolling hills and beautiful landscape. Pattavia's holes are carefully routed through dense vegetation and up-and-down ravines. There are several doglegs on the course, including the finest hole on the course. The trademark hole is number 18, which, in addition to having to avoid water and hit the green with a well-placed fairway club, has a significant left-to-right slope. A par is as good as it gets in this situation. If not, go with a bogey and call it a day. It could've turned out a lot worse.
For those who like to walk, golf carts are available, and Pattavia is one of the greatest deals in the Pattaya area. Cadies are well-trained, although they don't speak much English. The clubhouse is small, yet it meets all of the needs of golfers. Pattavia is a pleasant course and an excellent alternative for people who have played all of Pattaya's other regular and well-known courses.
