Since its rebranding in 2006, the Emerald Golf Club has worked hard to bring the course and playing conditions up to world standards. The course, which was originally known as Ban Chang and then Rayong Century Golf Club, is nestled in the highlands just outside of Rayong and close to Eastern Star.
The Emerald Golf Club is placed in a rainforest environment, hidden amongst winding hillsides. Some of the most beautifully crafted holes on Thailand's Eastern Seaboard may be found on this Pattaya golf course. The 18-hole course is constructed through a pristine forest of fully grown trees, providing ideal playing conditions in mature circumstances.
There are only a few water hazards, but the Emerald Golf Club's undulating and tight fairways, well-placed bunkers, and some difficult Par 3's combine to make it a demanding test of golf. On the Emerald Golf course, accuracy, rather than distance, is the key to a good score.
After the game, the small but charming clubhouse with open-air restaurant provides a pleasant ambiance. While not as well-known as some of the other Pattaya golf courses, the Emerald Golf Club's superb layout and stunning environment make it a wonderful choice for any Pattaya golfer.
