Pattaya Country Club is one of the closest courses to Pattaya, with about 2,000 rai of park-like grounds surrounded by gentle sloping hills. The golf course is moderately difficult and suitable for golfers of all skill levels.
Several of the holes have dual fairways, giving them both more difficult and safer paths to the greens. Greens are typically well-protected by bunkers, and many are undulating.
Water only comes into play on one hole at Pattaya Country Club, the 17th par 4, unlike many other Pattaya area courses. However, because of the large geographical area, many of the holes are separated from one another. This results in long treks from the greens to the next tees, as well as the OB areas prevalent on several of the holes.
The final three holes, dubbed "amen corner" by locals, are the most challenging on the course and can result in dramatic finishes or unexpected scores for those who count on a strong round too soon.
Friendly employees and a great Thai restaurant make up for the paucity of amenities in the clubhouse, both of which provide nice refreshments after every game.
