Rayong Green Valley is situated on the slope of a hill, and hence derives many of its characteristics from the surrounding terrain's enormous rocky outcrops, boulders, cactus, and other native wildlife. Bunkers have been strategically placed to allow a talented golfer to drive over them while allowing shorter hitters plenty of room to layup. Green Valley is one of Pattaya's best walking courses, with its undulating fairways and tranquil location allowing those who prefer to walk to experience golf at its best. The greens are slightly elevated and range in size from large to little, with modest undulations throughout.
A big clubhouse with three restaurants is part of the Rayong Green Valley complex. The German restaurant is particularly good, particularly for those who want a cold beer after a round of golf. The course is overlooked by a housing estate, a condominium, and a small golf resort.
