Snooker and Pool are both very popular sport in Pattaya, especially among the Thais, there are many open air snooker halls on the back streets and road sides of Pattaya, you quite often see Thais playing snooker into the early hours of the morning and quite often throughout the night in these open snooker halls.
For the tourist, many hotels in Pattaya have their own snooker club or snooker room where hotel guests can play, many of the hotels open their facilities such as snooker to non guests, if you know of a hotel with a snooker table it is always worth inquiring if it is available for non guests to use.
