In 1985, research on Mini Siam began, and the project was completed in 1986 with the addition of 29 Rais, which were divided into Mini Siam and Mini Europe. There are Booking Halls, Souvenir Shops for rent, and Parking Lots for the rest area. The first model was the Democracy Monument in Bangkok.
According to Buddhism, Siam is an old historic kingdom with prosperous Arts & Cultures, Customs & Traditions that have been documented. Thai ancient places and antiquenesses are still used to symbolise Thai independence now. All of the aforementioned will become decadent as time passes; also, traveling to them will cost a lot of money and time due to their dispersed locations. These are the reasons for establishing Mini Siam to model and gather all of them in one place to serve as a Thai Culture Knowledge Source for future generations to investigate and preserve.
