Siri Charoenwat Forest Track

The bicycle lane runs around Siri Charoenwat Forest Plantation in Chon Buri's Sattahip district, another of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej's various projects. It's crucial to understand a few things about this rare section of forest before we get to the bike route, which was officially opened in October.
This area, which is today covered with lush wilderness and serves as a watershed forest for farms and communities in the neighboring areas, was once a desolate wasteland. The forestry initiative was started by King Bhumibol in 1990, not just to help local farmers who were suffering from drought, but also as a gift to Queen Sirikit for her 60th birthday in 1992.

The Royal Forest Department carried out the job according to the monarch's instructions (RFD). The forest plantation is now managed by the Department of National Parks, Wildlife, and Plant Conservation (DNP), which was separated from the RFD in 2002 following a major reorganization.

The man-made forest's perimeter is marked by a newly built bike path. For the rangers, it also acts as a firebreak and a regular patrol route.
The smooth cycling track winds up and down the hillside for 18 kilometers, with varying gradients. Some ascents may appear difficult to individuals who are not physically fit, but with proper gear and inertia from the preceding downhill, you can complete them all without much difficulty.

Because of the stringent one-way traffic law, you can go downhill at your maximum speed without fear of someone suddenly coming from the curve ahead. However, be cautious because it can be very slippery in some conditions, such as when the surface is damp or covered in fallen leaves. It should be emphasized, however, that just like at Suvarnabhumi Airport, any rider using this lane must wear a helmet.
This cycling path is suitable for both road and mountain bikes. Simply ensure that the gears and brakes are in good operating order. The latter is particularly significant because it ensures that you complete the loop without any injuries or broken bones.

The bike lane in Siri Charoenwat Forest Plantation is also open every day except Mondays and Tuesdays, which is important to note. In the event of heavy weather, the venue may also be closed for safety concerns. So be sure you don't go all the way there only to discover you arrived on the wrong day.
Every cyclist must register at the visitors' center, which is the large structure next to the parking lot, before riding. On the second floor of the building, lockers and shower rooms are accessible.
