WKO - International School of Martial Arts

Due to its appearance as a Kung Fu school, WKO, which stands for World Kumite Organization, is sometimes disregarded as a venue to train Muay Thai. Robert McInnes, the gym's owner, has a long history in martial arts.
Sifu McInnes became the first Westerner to work as an official referee at Lumpinee Stadium in 1993. You can view Ramon Dekkers working the famous Ramon Dekkers vs Jomhod bout on YouTube.

Sifu McInnes is also well-known for his fighter training, and he was honored by the Prince of Thailand for his exploits.
He faced a young 15-year-old Thai lad who hoped to be a champion in 1991. Yodsanan was his name, and after a few years of training with Sifu McInnes, he won the PABA super featherweight boxing title and went on to become a WBA world champion, despite never having fought before McInnes began training him.

Yodsanan has a 51-3-1 record in Western boxing and is currently working as a trainer at Evolve MMA in Singapore. To see some of Yodsanan's battles, Google up "Sityodtong/Sor Nantthachai/3k Battery" or "Yodsanan Mini Tyson."
Yodtong Senanan (founder of the Sityodtong camp and trainer to more Muay Thai champions than anyone else in the history of Muay Thai) requested that McInnes take on another young lad he had in his camp because to Yodsanan's dramatic advances. Yodumlung was his name, and he also won a WBA boxing title under his tutelage.

Sifu McInnes was also a successful Muay Thai coach, with Sakmongkol Sithchuchok (5x WMC World champion and 3x Lumpinee stadium champion) and Chatchai Paiseetong benefiting from his instruction (3x Lumpinee stadium champion who represented the Sityodtong camp).
Sakmongkol, who is now regarded as a living legend for his performances during the sport's "golden age," is currently employed as a WKO trainer.
